This race towards fatherhood is not a 5k, half marathon, or even an ultra-marathon. This race towards fatherhood is a lifetime of ups and downs, hard work, and hopefully a great start to the legacy that God desires for us to leave on.
Our morning routine may have switched a little bit, but for now, it is Mickey Mouse club house pancakes for Sam, and something other than oatmeal and cereal for Lindsay and Emma to eat. #DadLifeWin
I am realizing that after seven years, I still don't know everything about my wife.
Last month our family went on our first vacation in over two years. Now the word vacation may be a little strong, but the time away from work, and the ability to just be able to relax and get away from the craziness of normal life was great.
The Lord has slowly been preparing us for this journey, and even though I am not thrilled about the situation, I know it will all be used for His good and His glory.
My wife and I have made a declaration. We... the Stippich family... are going to make this the Summer of grilling.
The only thing that covered up that sin of forgetting Lindsay's dinner is the fact that she got to watch me struggle more than usual as Emma was doing gymnastics as I tried to get her ready for her bath.
Let me be clear from the beginning, I definitely do not have a green thumb, and that is reason numero uno of why I did what I did.
Just the other day I accomplished my goal of getting to a certain weight. Yep, it was just about two months after my original victory date, but hey... I stinkin accomplished that goal and I should have been overjoyed.
On Valentines day I am sure that we all remember going to school thrilled because we knew that we were going to be getting awesome Valentines from all of the kids in class.
