We know we are super fortunate that we have such a good rule follower, most of the time. We also know that what we are doing isn’t the typical.
I know for me that there have been countless times that I have been on the cusp of starting something possibly grand and epic, but instead of taking the last step, I stopped right where I was.
I love the community that I am surrounded by and am honestly humbled by all the love and generosity.
I have to start off by saying that Lindsay and I are over the moon that our little man, who is just a couple months away from turning three, USED THE POTTY FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS WEEK!!! (fist bump emoji x3)
I love my kids dearly, even more than I love sweets or free food. I want the absolute best for them, but I honestly don’t think having these two words, be careful, as a mantra for their lives would be beneficial at all.

Ferris, what a wise, nay… a sage high school student. That little piece of advice is so true and on so many levels. As I have been thinking over this post, two different events have come up that have really put this movie quote into perspective.
This past Friday I learned something invaluable and I wanted to pass it along because I know we could all use more friends in the workplace. So, forget the golden rule and jot this little nugget down… Before you call someone a name or shove them in a category, know what said word and or category means.
